Kat Lee

Kat Lee is currently working in Strafford Pennsylvania at the Woodlyne School as the Middle & Upper School Art Teacher.

Having graduated from Tyler School of Art and Architecture in May 2014 with a BFA and a teaching certificate, Kat has been busy furthering her art practice.   In 2014 Kat was awarded the prestigious Windgate Fellowship, which has afforded her the opportunity to participate in the Teaching Assistantship Program at the Arrowmont School of Arts & Crafts in Gatlinburg, Tennessee learning from Hiroe Hanazono and Lana Wilson.  With plans to complete research trips to London and Amsterdam this winter in conjunction to the Windgate Fellowship Kat is hoping to exhibit new studio work in Spring / Summer 2015.

Regarding the education received at Temple University’s Tyler School of Art and Architecture, Kat Lee says, “Without Tyler I would have not received the support I did; I was encouraged to test and fail and retest all of my curiosities.  It was a great institution to work in all aspects of art.”
