BS Community Development

All applicants must submit a Temple University undergraduate application. Applications may be submitted online or downloaded from the Temple Undergraduate Admissions web site at Temple University Undergraduate Admissions reviews all academic credentials upon the receipt of the completed application, fee, transcripts, and test scores.

A portfolio is not required for this program.

MS City and Regional Planning

Applications must be received by the March 1, 2018 deadline to be considered for scholarship funding.  Applications received after the March 1 priority deadline will be reviewed on a rolling basis. Students may apply for the Spring term (deadline November 1), but a Fall term start is recommended due to course sequencing.

Transcripts: Applicants must submit official transcripts from all Universities and Colleges attended. 

Letters of Recommendation:  (3 required) Letters of recommendation should be obtained from college/university faculty members, planning professionals, and others in a position to evaluate the applicant's past work and/or ability to do graduate work. 

Statement of Goals: Approximately 500 to 1,000 words include your reason for pursuing a degree in City and Regional Planning; your interest in Temple's program in particular; and your future career goals.


Standardized Test Scores:
GRE: Required.  Domestic applicants may request waiver of this if the applicant has a high undergraduate GPA, prior graduate studies, or significant work experience.  All international applicants must submit GRE test scores.

TOEFL: Required for all international applicants.  79 iBT or 550 PBT minimum. 

A portfolio is not required for this program.
