Author: Jane DeRose Evans

Art History PhD candidate, Monica Hahn has received a travel grant from Yale University's Lewis Walpole Library to study the visual and textual resources that are rich in 18th-century accounts of contemporary theater, politics, exploration, Native people, and the relationships among them. She will examine the prints and manuscripts in the LWL collection in researching her dissertation project, Go-Between Portraits and the Imperial Imagination circa 1800.
