Students awarded IFMA scholarships in San Diego

This year, five Temple students have been awarded International Facilities Management Association Foundation scholarships.  These scholarships are awarded to Facilities Management students worldwide, and in addition to the scholarship value, students also had the opportunity to attend IFMA's World Workplace (WWP) in San Diego, California.  This event offers students the opportunity to network with professionals, attend workshops and social events, as well as explore a new city.

This year's scholarships recipients are:

Jason Gonzalez (Bachelor of Science in Facilities Management '16): Greater Philadelphia Chapter Scholarship

Joshua Krawiec (Bachelor of Science in Facilities Management '17): Aramark Scholarship

Mary Paschos (Bachelor of Science in Facilities Management '18): Corporate Facilities Council

Benjamin Sotomayor (Bachelor of Science in Facilities Management '17): Central Pennsylvania Chapter Scholarship

Brianne Rose White (Bachelor of Science in Facilities Management '18): Greater Philadelphia Chapter Scholarship

In additon to these winners, alumna Dorthy Rose Scholnick (Bachelor of Science in Facilities Management '16) won the e-poster competition for presenting her research from the Capstone Research Seminar taught in Spring 2016.  The students' experience at WWP is invaluable and helps to foster both student and professional networks.
