Tyler courses open to non-majors

Are you a Temple student interested in a course at the Tyler School of Art and Architecture? We invite you to be a part of our community of bold thinkers and makers. 

The range of Tyler offerings that Temple students have access to opens doors to new skill sets, creative problem-solving and collaborative thinking that will complement your career path. If you’re interested in adding a minor or certificate, simply taking a thought-provoking Gen Ed requirement or exploring a class that piques your curiosity, we have a class for you.

Don’t see a specific course you’re interested in? Don’t worry. Please fill out the Tyler Course Request form for a course that is restricted or has a pre-requisite. For studio course requests, you will also be required to submit a portfolio. Additional fees lab or computer technology fees may apply. Please contact Tyler’s Admissions Office for more information. 

Due to Covid-19 safety measures in place, courses could be offered in a hybrid format, with a mix of online and in-person learning, or fully online. Please check the spring 2021 schedule to learn more.
