Why Tyler?
The school has a great reputation, great tuition, and one of the best art ed programs I've seen. I also really wanted an urban education.
What is your major and why do you love it?
My major is art education and I love being able to pass on the therapeutic powers and cultural heritage of art and be able to uplift unheard voices.
What are some tips you would give to applicants?
If you be your unique self and refuse to compromise what you are and need, admissions will see that, professors will see that, and your fellow students will see that
What is a positive experience you’ve had at Tyler so far?
Generally I've really loved the way that Tyler classes have gotten me out of my bubble. I really loved community arts where we took field trips to different community orgs in north Philly, it really gave me new insight on what art can do!
