Mia Culbertson

Mia Culbertson is a designer and educator whose academic research focuses on diversity, equity, and representation in the design community and in the classroom. Culbertson has a love for combining typography and brand identity with modern technology and the idea of community. Clients include Consensis, Philadelphia Contemporary, and AIGA, and her work can be seen in the publications Graphis, Creative Quarterly, and Graphic Design USA.

Culbertson's work has been exhibited in a variety of settings, including Atelier Art Gallery, The Morean Arts Center, and CADAF New York. Culbertson currently serves as Education co-chair with AIGA Philadelphia, and has spearheaded Locally Sourced, an annual exhibition showcasing student design work in the Philadelphia area.
