Steven Charles, Tyler Painting MFA '96, is showing recent works in a solo show at Chris Worley Fine Arts in Dallas, TX, May 19-June 23, 2018.
Charles's work has been exhibited nationally in galleries and museums, as well as internationally in Canada and Spain. He has been the recipient of a Pollock-Krasner Foundation Grant, and an Artist’s Fellowship from The New York Foundation for the Arts. His work has been reviewed in publications including Art in America, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and Vice among others. Houston-based artist Natasha Bowdoin, Tyler painting MFA '07, is currently showing her work "Maneater" at Mass MoCA in North Adams, MA. Her largest-ever cut-paper collage installation "investigates the intersections of the visual, the experiential, and the literary, treating language and nature as kindred phenomena."
