Artist Talk: Maia Chao

Maia Chao (she/her) is a Philadelphia-based interdisciplinary artist who works in video, performance, sculpture, and social practice. She is co-creator of “Look at Art. Get Paid.” Chao's artist talk will focus on her performative film, What Draws Us Together, What Drives Us Apart, made in collaboration with her sister.

This artist talk is presented in conjunction with the Moving Image + Sound Course taught by Alex Strada. It is open to all students, faculty and staff.
