If applying to art education, art therapy, studio arts (ceramics, design and illustration, fibers and materials studies, glass, metals jewelry CADCAM, painting, printmaking, photography, sculpture), or visual studies programs, a portfolio must be officially submitted via Temple SlideRoom to be considered. Please refrain from sending portfolio materials or original work by mail, as these will not be accepted, reviewed, or returned.

Your portfolio should showcase recent work demonstrating your creative interests, technical skills, and overall abilities. It should reflect the range of your ideas, experiences, and exploration of your craft.

Please include:

- 8-12 pieces of original, completed work within 1-2 years in any media that best highlights your strengths and interests.

We highly recommend that you also include:

- At least one drawing.

Tips:

- Various media, subject matter, and scales are welcomed and will be considered.

- Feel free to include work completed in weekend or summer programs.

-Sketchbooks are considered supplemental to your portfolio but feel free to include them alongside your completed works

-Transfer students should include examples of work completed in college-level studio courses.
