The Tyler School of Art and Architecture offers 22 programs in art, architecture, and environmental design disciplines to undergraduate students that will inspire and engage you creatively and intellectually and prepare you for a rewarding career. Below, you’ll find application deadlines and requirements for your program of interest, as well as links to submit an application and a portfolio, if required.

Portfolio requirements

In addition to the specific application requirements, first-year student applicants must submit portfolio via Temple SlideRoom in order to be considered for admission into any of Tyler’s arts programs, including Art Education, Art Therapy, Graphic & Interactive Design, Studio Art and Visual Studies. Slideroom charges a one-time $10 fee for this service. Applicants who feel this presents a barrier to completing their application should email tyleradmissions@temple.edu.

Helpful Tips

Check the status of your application anytime by logging into the TUportal using your AccessNet username and password. To join TUportal, sign up for the mailing list. You will receive instructions via email within 24 hours.
