Artist Statement
My jewelry emerges from play and material experimentation, transforming movement, light, and perception into dynamic forms. Each piece blurs the line between art and wearer, challenging the idea of jewelry as something static.
Many of my works are kinetic, while others create the illusion of movement through moiré patterns or shifting light reflections. The pieces come to life through interaction: as the wearer rotates an element or tilts it toward the light, colors shift or patterns change, revealing new visual effects and unexpected moments of play. This interplay between movement and perception excites me. It hovers between the familiar and the unknown, where forms transform yet never fully resolve.
I exist in a body that is both perceived as able and faces its own limitations. This duality creates a sense of disorientation that I try to make sense of through my work. Rather than focusing on restriction, I embrace movement, both real and perceived, as a space of possibility. Through simplicity of form, engagement, and a sense of play, my work explores fluidity, transformation, and the ways we navigate the seen and unseen.
