Frank de Santis is an architect and educator whose efforts bridge academic inquiry and practical design, with a focus on beginning design pedagogy and residential projects. He believes architectural education should empower students to thoughtfully translate, mediate, and negotiate within the broadest historical, cultural, social, and intellectual contexts. Prior to independent practice, he was an architect in the offices of James Polshek, Robert A.M. Stern, Thomas Beeby, and Cesar Pelli.
