Idalia Vasquez-Achury explores transitions, ambiguity, and the fluidity of diasporic experience. Working across photography, installation, performance, and artist books, she fuses factual and fictional elements to challenge linear and monolithic narratives. Her work has been featured in solo and group exhibitions at The Print Center, Fleisher Art Memorial, Candela Books + Gallery, Woodmere Art Museum, and Fleisher’s Diálogo 365, among others. She has participated in residencies at the Fitler Club and TILT Institute, and her work is held in the permanent collection of the Forman Arts Initiative. Vasquez-Achury has also spoken at Moore College of Art & Design and the Berman Museum of Art. She holds an MFA in Photography from the Tyler School of Art and Architecture at Temple University.
