In Memoriam

Jack Wasserman, Emeritus Professor of Art History at Temple University, Philadelphia, passed away on October 13, 2025. He was 104 years old. He had to his credit numerous articles and reviews, as well as three books entitled, Ottaviano Mascarino, published under the auspices of the Accademia di San Luca, Rome; Leonardo da Vinci in the Abrams Library of Great Painters series; and Michelangelo’s Florence Pietà, Princeton University Press. He had a number of research awards, including a Fulbright grant to Italy and grants from American Council of Learned Society, Samuel S. Kress Foundation and the American Philosophical Society.
