Kim Altomare makes paper sculptures, paper paintings and prints that reveal and conceal the shifting dimensions of the trans body through abstraction, sensation, and affect. Altomare received their MFA from Yale School of Art (2019) and their BFA from Tyler School of Art and Architecture (2013). Their work has been included in exhibitions at Big Ramp, Automat Collective, Fleisher Arts Memorial, and Vox Populi. Residencies include the Ora Leman Trust, Lafayette College's Experimental Printmaking Residency, Atlantic Center for the Arts, and Yale Summer School of Art.
