Lisa Blum has over 35 years’ of experience teaching horticulture at both Saul High School of Agricultural Science and at Temple University. Her areas of expertise include plant pathology and entomology, stress physiology, arboriculture and urban forestry, interior landscaping, and landscape management and design.
Lisa advises students on horticultural careers, and connects them with horticultural companies, gardens, and institutions for internships as well as employment. She currently teaches Applied Plant Physiology and Horticulture Business Management at Temple's Ambler Campus. Lisa also volunteers with children’s educational programming at the Ambler Arboretum. Lisa is a member of the PA Horticultural Society Tree Tenders’ educational team to train community tree and garden groups in the care of city and suburban trees.
