AED Presents: Tom Chung
Join us for a virtual lecture from Tom Chung, AIA, principal and design leader at Leers Weinzapfel Associates, recipient of the national AIA Firm Award. Chung designs welcoming, transparent and sustainable buildings, reflecting values of diversity, democracy and care for the environment. Tom will share Leers Weinzapfel's the recent work, focusing on sustainability for the environment as well as the community with two projects currently in design: a nature-based pre-school at Auburn University in Alabama, and the Davis Center at Williams College in Massachusetts. Through these educational projects, he hopes to forefront his strong belief that design excellence must protect and advocate for the environment and our diverse community.
