Artist Talk: Sasha Wortzel

Sasha Wortzel (she/they) is an artist and filmmaker working between Miami and New York City. Blending the archival and the imaginary, Wortzel's films, installations, sculptures and performances investigate the ways the past and power haunt and inextricably shape the contemporary American Landscape. Wortzel's artist talk will center on their film This is an Address and their work on archives, historical erasure, and the use of sound within moving image.

This artist talk is presented in conjunction with the Moving Image + Sound Course taught by Alex Strada, and is open to all students, faculty and staff.
