Critical Dialogue: William Villalongo and Mark Thomas Gibson

The Fall 2022 season of Tyler's Critical Dialogue Series continues with a conversation between alumnus William Villalongo (MFA '01) and Assistant Professor of Painting Mark Thomas Gibson as part of The Print Center's current exhibition, A Kaleidoscopic View: Recent Prints from Graphicstudio (Sept. 16-Nov. 12). The exhibition, featuring prints by both artists, highlights boundary-pushing artwork created at Graphicstudio, an experimental printshop at the University of South Florida. Gibson and Villalongo will discuss what draws them to printmaking in their own work, as well as in their co-curatorial project, Black Pulp. Print Center Executive Director Elizabeth F. Spungen will moderate the discussion.

This event is co-presented by The Print Center and Tyler School of Art and Architecture.
The Critical Dialogue Series is hosted by Tyler School of Art and Architecture at Temple University and is partially supported through the General Activity Fund.
