9:30AM: Gather inTyler's Courtyard for a new student meeting. You’ll get to network with new students, participate in introductory activities, and receive some Tyler School of Art and Architecture swag.
11:00AM: We’ll join all of the new students at Temple University for New Student Convocationin the Liacouras Center. The University’s president, provost, president of the faculty senate, student body president and alumni association president will welcome all new freshmen and transfer students.
~12:00PM: Led by student leaders, all will gather for lunch at the annual Convocation BBQ at the Bell Tower immediately following the ceremony to celebrate officially becoming a Temple Owl.
After 1:00PM: you’ll find there are a number of information sessions and open houses around campus to introduce you to many of the extra-curricular activities and organizations at the university. See a full list of who will be represented at: events.temple.edu/tags/welcome-week
3:30PM: Tyler’s Ask Me Anything (AMA) in Architecture 104, where our Assistant Director of Student Life, Kari Scott, will answer any questions you have about all academic or non-academic issues that you’ve been wondering about. Then our student advisors will tell you everything they wished they’d known when they started at Tyler and answer any and all questions about life here. Cookies and lemonade will be served.
