TransDisciplinary Conversation Series

The Distance between Student and Subject: Closeness and Identity-Building in Science & Technology
Co-facilitated by Dr. Meghnaa Tallapragada (Advertising & PR).

This Temple-wide initiative is intended to provide a platform where intellect across disciplines is supported. Each conversation focuses on questions that cannot be answered  within a single academic or artistic space. By bringing together artists, scientists, and scholars in a transdisciplinary framework, the participants are encouraged to draw upon the entirety of their experiences and create new knowledge operating between disciplinary boundaries.

For each session, up to 10 participants (faculty, staff, and students all equally welcome) from varying disciplines will come together and share time and  resources. It is intended to be a conversation where you can gain perspectives on your practice from outside your own discipline, give insight to others, and find future collaborators.

Each session will be co-facilitated by a faculty member and one graduate student.  We will meet in different buildings on the Temple campuses, coinciding with the department of the faculty member. Dinner will be provided! Any questions? Please email transdis@temple.edu.
