Flyer Display Policy for Tyler School of Art and Architecture

The Tyler School of Art and Architecture has nine designated posting areas throughout its two buildings for Tyler students to display flyers about news and events, related to Tyler and Temple.

The posting areas are located on the News and Events wall on the first floor of the Architecture building; at all seven water filling stations in the Art building; and on the column in the second-floor student lounge of the Art building. These approved locations are indicated by bulletin boards labeled “News and Events."

Tyler's other public spaces are largely dedicated to art installations. Any poster, flyer or other visual information or material posted anywhere else in the Tyler buildings will be treated as an art installation and must go through the approval process for Displaying Artwork at Tyler, found on the Student Exhibitions Resources Canvas site.

The bulletin boards will be reviewed every Friday to keep information current and allow adequate opportunity for all members of our community to share information. All posters, flyers and other visual information and materials will be removed except for those advertising events that have not yet occurred.

Any poster, flyer or other visual information or material that is in violation of the Student Code of Conduct will be removed immediately.

Students from outside of Tyler may post information on the two bulletin boards in the Café but must follow Temple University’s Flyer Approval Process, outlined here, before posting.
