MA Student Art History

Allyshia Mohr (she/hers) is a first year master student in Art History. Her studies are in religious symbolism in Italian Renaissance Art. She graduated as Student Marshall for her graduating class in 2022 with a BA in Arts Administration from Penn State University. While at Penn State she was involved heavily in the art gallery on campus helping with exhibitions and participated in two conferences. She was employed at  the Lehigh University Art Galleries immediately following graduation where she helped form a system of organizing their archive files and managing a team of 15 interns every semester. She was also part of their access culture that helped any person in being able to enjoy the museum most notably preparing audio descriptions for various works in the museum. She also was the delegate for “front of house” staff to learn their collection management software and help staff use it successfully. After moving on from that position she is now a Marketing and Communication specialist at Penn State Lehigh Valley where she helps in social media, events on campus, promoting digital materials, and is the webmaster for the campus. While she enjoys her job, she is happy to be at Tyler School of Art and Architecture to get back to what she truly loves.
