Geoffrey Jackson Scott, Co-Founder and Creative Director of Peoplmovr will deliver a public lecture entitled "Engagement: Advancing Equity adn Access in Arts + Culture" on Monday, November 5 at 10:10 am in Architecture Room 104.
Geoffrey Jackson Scott is a cultural organizer, creative producer and strategist. He will discuss developing models of authentic engagement and partnership among artists institutions and communities that advance inclusion, access and equity. Hist creative studio, Peoplmvr, centers its practice on these values and their recent work includes desigining city-wide public engagement for The Mile-Long Opera performanec project on the HighLine (NYC), and leading a Ford Foundation funded intiative creating policies, programs, and practices designed to open up access for a broader public at teh Museum of the Moving Image.
