Bucks County Multi-Municipal GHG Emissions Inventory and Climate Action Plan

The CSC worked with the five Bucks County municipalities of Falls, Lower Makefield, Lower Southampton, Middletown, and Penndel to create a multi-municipal greenhouse gas emissions inventory and climate action plan. This collaborative effort was funded by a grant from the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection with the goal of establishing baseline greenhouse gas emissions levels, forecasting future emissions, setting reduction goals, and developing emissions reduction strategies. CSC staff worked with the township managers and community Environmental Advisory Councils to develop goals and strategies for reductions that made sense for the communities based on their individual circumstances, histories of environmental action, and objectives for the future.
