AED Presents: Jeff Richards
Join us for a virtual lecture from registered architect and educator Jeff Richards as he discusses “Necessary Practice” and the capacity of architectonic considerations such as material, envelope and structure to both reinforce and transform conceptual building approaches. Richards earned his MArch from Yale University School of Architecture and worked at acclaimed architecture firms Bohlin Cywinski Jackson and Skidmore, Owings & Merrill. Richards joined Tyler in Fall 2021 as an Assistant Professor of Instruction. His teaching and practice examine the relationship between building performance and human experience for the purpose of grounding a building in the identity of its particular people and place.
