Alex Smith, a 2020 Pew grantee, is an artist/writer/musician/Afrofuturist who uses sci-fi/cyberpunk/queer futurity to reimagine a world that centers and empowers Black queer folks through collage art, experimental punk music as well as science fiction writing in comics, scripts, novels, poetry, critique and more.
