GRASP Lecture: Eating The World and Saving Some for Later with John Dillard
The Tyler School of Art and Architecture, in conjunction with Temple University Office of Sustainability, presents a lecture from the 2023 Graduate Research Award in Sustainability awardee, John Erwin Dillard. The Graduate Research Award for Sustainability Program (GRASP) advances the university’s goal of expanding sustainability research by providing funding to graduate student research projects focused on sustainability.
John Erwin Dillard (he/him) is a second year MFA candidate in Tyler's Glass program. His lecture, Eating the World but Saving Some for Later, will detail the progress of the Glass program’s newly implemented system of diverting glass out of the waste stream and converting it into studio quality colored glass, weaving together narratives of creative practice, economic power, and sustainability.
