Philadelphia-based furniture designer and fabricator, Laura Bertapelle, is a multimedia artist who investigates materials’ untapped capabilities in order to understand how they relate to one another and inspire new processes. Through experimentation, she expands materials’ properties beyond their typical use, seamlessly integrating material and process to achieve a final form that transcends the limits of what is known.
