"NO SIGNAL" 2nd Year MFA Group Show

NO SIGNAL is an exhibition testing the collective phenomenon of dissonance, uncertainty, and affect. It invites 2nd year MFA candidates at Tyler School of Art and Architecture whose work explores a conflict, tension, or disharmony that result in a lost signal, a malfunctioning glitch, or something absurd that alters our expectations of a specific place or thing.

Each artist captures the ideal conditions that jolt the senses and bring what is known into question through their interdisciplinary practices. These conditions are exhibited through narratives of visual disharmony, unexpected outcomes, and coping mechanisms unique to each artist.
