Temple of Joy

Open Call for Submissions

To celebrate the end of the school year and highlight the incredible talent in each department across Tyler School of Art and Architecture, Temple Contemporary invites all Tyler students to submit their best work to a non-curated, additive exhibition titled TEMPLE OF JOY.

How to Submit Work

Tyler students may bring works for display to Temple Contemporary on Monday, May 2 and Tuesday, May 3. Please select work that can be exhibited using simple hanging materials such as thumbtacks and exhibition putty. You may bring your own pedestal or display materials for sculptural work, as long as it is removed with the work at the end of the exhibition.

Students in non-maker based departments are encouraged to display anything that highlights your creativity–notes, documents, thesis papers, blueprints–you name it!

Works that pose a risk to visitors, contain hazardous materials, include animals (living or dead), or violate Temple University’s policies or conduct code will not be accepted.
