J. Brooke Harrington combined architectural practice, research and teaching for over thirty-five years. In his years of practice, he worked on a number of nationally and internationally recognized buildings and received a National Endowment for the Arts ‘Accomplished Professional’ fellowship that allowed him to further explore and evolve the importance of architectural details in the perception of buildings. He has co-authored numerous papers and exhibitions on Balkan traditional architecture.
