Filipe de Sousa is an artist who uses a variety of mediums to produce his work. Centering on questions of the everyday and the public sphere, often with an eye toward history, Filipe attempts to create situations for critical reflection and collective imagining. Currently his interests include the professionalization of art, contemporary sites of gathering and labor.
