Artist Statement
Through a multidisciplinary practice of print, photography, sculpture, and installation, my work engages with overlooked aspects of the built environment and challenges capitalistic norms of value. I’m captivated by the simple act of looking and I investigate mundane moments of daily life discovered while moving through the city. I am particularly interested in small-scale interventions in the built environment—unauthorized modifications or makeshift practices that function as subtle disruptions. These hidden acts of creativity serve as counterpoints to the dominant interests of capital, business, and bureaucracy, which shape public space. My practice aims to elevate these everyday disruptions, prompting viewers to reconsider the spaces they inhabit
