Katie Savage seeks to create personal and global narratives that raise awareness and educate the viewer. Through varying graphic styles and illustration, her work has addressed post-colonialism, memory, environmentalism, the celebration of culture and traditions, and the impact of language. Her current work explores topics of immigration and the reclaiming of colonized spaces. Through each project she seeks to find herself at the intersection of social justice and design.
