March 21 - 24, 2018
Opening Reception: March 23, 6-8pm
Kelly Kuykendall is an interdisciplinary artist who often turns to her livelihood as a resource for materials and inspiration. These experiences include, but are not limited to, a freelance prop fabricator and set dresser, produce vendor, and stable hand. Her investigations can take the form of collage, installation, and/or interviews. Kuykendall explores people’s relationships to their physical, social, natural, and constructed environments. Her work is never-ending as it is always repurposing itself, or transitioning into something new. As an artist, she questions how much the environment shapes us and how much we shape the environment.
