Artist Statement

I create artwork from the perspective of humanity and the environment, two concepts that transcend time and space and remain constant in my life. I see art as a tool to escape geographical borders, connecting people across cultures, tendencies, and opinions. Inspired by the renowned Iranian poet Rumi, whose poetry dissolves boundaries and speaks directly to the soul, I aim to create art that connects universally. As he wrote, ‘There exists a field, beyond all notions of right and wrong; I will meet you there.’ In my practice, I explore and experiment with diverse materials, allowing them to speak their own language. Rather than forcing them into predefined roles, I work to understand their natural interactions, continuously seeking to create new worlds through these dialogues. My art reflects a desire to bridge differences and foster connections, both between people and within the materials themselves.
