Artist Statement
Repurposing, Reconstructing, Restrengthening, and Revolutionary. My work as an individual is well aware of their surrounding, its existence, and its company. She's building a cultural understanding of disconnect while reconnecting with familiar objects. We are repeating words back and forth, to see what happens when words change during the repetition. We are releasing our familiar, our understanding is too familiar, and we are too familiar.
