Landscape Architecture & Horticulture
At Temple University Ambler, Tyler's Landscape Architecture and Horticulture programs have access to several specialized facilities, needed to meet the educational mission of the department. The 5,600-square-foot Ambler Campus Greenhouse provided students with a first-class facility to study plant and soil science while the 187-acre Ambler Arboretum of Temple University serves as a living laboratory that promotes knowledge of horticulture, understanding of the relationship between people and the environment, and awareness of both the need for and means to achieve greater environmental responsibility. Students also have access to specialized CAD Labs and design studios — including a digital design studio — with a wide array of applications software, including AutoCAD, ArcView GIS, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Suite and more.
