The new Bachelor of Science in Architectural Preservation will soon have forthcoming alumni. However, many Temple Architecture alumni have been interested and pursued a career in architectural preservation.

Kenneth Jacobs (1969) is a preservation architect with nearly 30 years experience in historic research, programming, design, construction documentation, and construction administration. Most recently he was responsible for the preservation and reconstruction of the Baptist Temple at Temple University. This extensive $30-million renovation included the complete restoration of the Romanesque facade, while the inside of the building boasts a modern design with high ceilings, intricate stained glass windows and a thrust stage that extends into the theater, which seats more than 1,200 people across 36,000 square feet.
