My paintings are a caricature, and the world presented is an ecosystem of the margins. The residue of art’s past aspirations are subjected to physics as they mutate, evolve, and propagate. Primordial urges stir as the very ground becomes animate, flirting and interacting with the figure. This world is not one to step into; rather, all is presented in the foreground to the viewer, much like the objects of a shadow box exist exclusively for its beholder. Everything works and progresses together, not with an expectation of self-realization, but in order to simply exhibit their continuation.
