Amy Gillette (PhD, 2016) is a medievalist and a research specialist at the Barnes Foundation. She produces the Foundation’s white papers on individual and collective works of art, as well as lectures, teaches and produces interpretive content. Gillette publishes on topics including the music of angels in sacred art, Late Gothic church furnishings and mechanical devices made for liturgical and paraliturgical spectacles.
