Digital Fabrication Lab

The Architecture Digital Fabrication Lab offers laser machines for cutting, etching and scoring and 3D printers (stereolithography and fused deposition modeling). The lab is staffed with trained consultants who are available to aid in the use of this self-service equipment. As a bridge uniting traditional construction techniques with digital fabrication processes, we also have two 3-axis CNC routers capable of machining complex forms in a variety of materials, including wood, foam, plastic and plaster.
