Artist Statement

Yige Zhang is a designer and illustrator. She has been creating work that focuses on ethnic culture and children product. Born in the southwest of China where is blessed with diverse traditional culture, Yige loves integrating her local cultural elements into her design as well as building an emotional connection with her audience. 

Yige’s interest is adding narrative into her design and illustration. In some of her children books and brand identities, she integrated many interesting stories into her character design which target to make her work more friendly and charming for both children and adults.
