Müge Durusu-Tanrıöver is an assistant professor of urban design and landscape architecture at Bilkent University in Turkey and the director of the Polatlı Landscape Archaeology and Survey Project, which explores the archaeological footprint of the Hittite Empire along its western border. Müge’s research interests emphasize the interaction between imperial centers and frontiers in the ancient Near East. She received her PhD in archaeology from Brown University.
