Painting

Tyler's Painting program is known for for its superb quality, rigor, and the success of its alumni and faculty. Painting is housed in an almost 19,000 sf facility with 6 drawing and painting rooms of over 1000 sf, each with a north facing wall of windows, providing amazing light and views of Philadelphia. These rooms have tall ceilings, painting racks which can accommodate even the largest paintings, 12’ doorways between rooms, modeling stands, and the usual complement of heavy duty painting and drawing equipment. The Painting area includes 16 graduate studios, undergraduate majors rooms, storage area, model changing room, critique area with projection capability, conference room, paintbrush washing tubs, and easy access to the freight elevator.
