Erin M. Riley (MFA '09) most recently is the recipient of the 2021 USA Fellowship for her bold artistic vision and significant impact. Each artist who receives a USA Fellowship demonstrates generosity and care toward field-building that continues to inspire and propel their discipline.
Riley's has work currently on display in a Solo Exhibition at The End is Near Gallery in Brooklyn, NY, as well as in New Material, a group show at Aviary Gallery in Boston, MA and Stitch Fetish a group show at Hive Gallery in Los Angeles, CA. Riley has an upcoming exhibition in March of 2013 in the Project Space of Guerrero Gallery in San Francisco, CA as well as in the 24th Annual Benefit Art Auction, Massachusetts College of Art & Design, Boston, MA in April of 2013 and Culture Cache a curated group exhibition from September 2013 - February 2014 in the Joseph Gross Gallery, University of Arizona, Tucson, AZ. Riley was a 2012 Ruth and Harold Chenven Grant Recipient and a recent artist-in-residence at Virginia Center for the Creative Arts in Amherst, VA and Bemis Center for Contemporary Art in Omaha, NE. Her work can be seen in the Textile Artist's Studio Handbook as well as the upcoming issue of Whore! Magazine.
