Amir Khadar (They/Them) is an artist, designer, and cultural organizer primarily working through collage, fiber art, and digital art. The mediums and materials guide conceptual explorations into gender theory, African diasporic ecologies, adornments, and ancestral practices. Amir's primary form of work is collaborating with individuals and groups on art/culture-based projects that imagine new worlds and demonstrate liberation. Amir transferred from the Maryland Institute College of Art and graduated in 2022 from Swarthmore College with a B.A. in Black Studies.
