Artist Statement

Inspired by feminism and emotions, my work utilizes AR filters to create interactive experiences that convey my concepts in a lighthearted and humorous manner. Through the act of wearing these digital pieces, I guide audiences to reflect on the deeper meanings behind the work and to connect with the emotions it represents.  Each filter serves as a bridge between the viewer and the themes of my art, blending playfulness with critical inquiry. By engaging audiences in this way, I aim to foster a space where meaningful discussions about emotional questions, particularly those related to emotional health, can emerge naturally and accessibly. For example, the Anxiety series of works was designed based on the sound waves I got from recording my own anxious voice. The reason for choosing sound waves is that I think sound is the most direct way to express emotions. By recording emotional sounds, such as anxiety, tension and depression, I visualize their waveforms and give emotions a form that can be touched and observed. This method not only shows the fluidity of emotions, but also transforms intangible emotions into concrete artistic language.
