The admissions team and student ambassadors host undergraduate tours of the Tyler School of Art and Architecture on weekdays at 1 pm.
Each Tour Takes About an Hour
- A small group setting, where you receive personal attention and answers
- Access to our state-of-the-art classrooms and studio spaces for all fine arts and built environments creators
- Insights into opportunities for cross-discipline engagement with faculty and peers
- Details on the transformational one-year foundations program for first-year arts students and two-year foundations program for many first-year architecture students
Self-Guided Tours
If you cannot fit a guided tour into your schedule, we provide a map of the buildings and invite you to look around on your own. If one is available, you may also speak with a counselor before or after your tour.

Portfolio Tips and Tricks
Applying for college may seem daunting, but Tyler Admissions is here to help demystify the process!

Graduate Application Navigation
We know that applying to Graduate School can be stressful. Virtual Portfolio Day 2027
Tyler's Virtual Portfolio Day is an opportunity for prospective applicants to meet with a representative from our Admissions Team for an informal portfolio review. This is a great way for applicants to get feedback and relevant portfolio submission information regarding their specific needs and personal artistic processes. Upon filling out this form, a member of the Admissions Team will be in contact with you shortly to schedule a specific time slot and provide you with a Zoom link for your review.

Temple Open Houses
Get a feel for Temple’s Main Campus in person. Open Houses will include an Admissions presentation, academic previews hosted by our schools and college, a campus resources and information fair, and campus and residence hall tours.
National Portfolio Days
National Portfolio Day is free for students to attend! Join Tyler at any of the events below to follow your path towards art, design and the built environment. Please note the National Portfolio Day Association handles registration for all events.
